Approach
Design Philosophy
Companies are searching for comprehensive design solutions to facility problems. Our design approach to projects is coherent and analytical, integrating an understanding of strategic business issues with architectural design skill and facilities knowledge.
Business strategy is the foundation of office planning and design. Whether or not the linkage is explicitly acknowledged organizational structure, growth projections, work process, real estate overhead, and image determine the form, finish and location of every workplace. Basic questions about square footage requirements and functional adjacencies are really questions about vision, priorities, and office culture. Our job as architects is to explain the business implications of various facilities alternatives, and assess the suitability of proposed solutions in the context of your business objectives and operational requirements.
Searching for your next ideal office space presents multiple real estate issues that must be addressed in a manner that mitigates real estate expenses and maximizes value, while presenting a professional image. GGA’s innovative and creative design solutions assist you in linking facilities decisions with other change initiatives, making strategic design a catalyst for awareness and innovation at every level.
Group Goetz Architects’ design approach rests on the belief that each client is unique. As such, GGA dedicates time and energy to learn about your particular architectural and real estate requirements. Whether your design solution favors the traditional or alternative office style, GGA commits to making your workspace as efficient as possible. We believe that while each real estate situation is individual, an explicit connection between business strategy and facilities designs exists. As experts we optimize this connection to ensure that your workspace suits your specific needs.
We also recognize the interdependence of people on the natural and the built environment. For this reason, our design philosophy incorporates sustainable practices that make fiscal sense for our client and environmental sense for our community. To counteract the depletion of natural resources and the effects of waste product pollution, GGA strives for viable alternatives to disposable design. We implement methods to reduce construction debris, recycle waste, and reuse existing fixtures, equipment, and products when possible. Whether using high-efficiency lighting fixtures or retrofitting existing ones, our projects increase energy efficiency and improve lighting quality. GGA also collaborates with environmentally responsive manufacturers and we ask for Material Safety Data Sheets as a matter of course. As part of our integrated approach to sustainability, we specify materials and products that include recycled content and energy efficient features and we do not release toxins into the environment.
