Group Goetz Architects (GGA), an internationally recognized architectural design firm, is pleased to announce that Brian Calis has been promoted to Principal. Having been with GGA for 5 years, Mr. Calis is currently leading a team of 27 architects and designers for one of the firm’s largest government clients. Motivated by workplace excellence, Mr. Calis established best practice processes and procedures for his team’s specific requirements; procedures that GGA has implemented into its firm wide operations.
Mr. Calis’ proactive, diplomatic management style, and strong organizational skills allow him to effectively solve problems and communicate client needs. He is highly regarded by clients for his high standards of professionalism and his rigorous commitment to their satisfaction. With a background in developing diverse architectural projects of various typologies and sizes, Mr. Calis possesses a thorough understanding of architectural planning and design, design development, construction documentation and administration, and project management. Additionally, he is an active member of many of the area’s leading real estate organizations such as the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA) and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
